September 2008: Dr Peter Fort has joined Sleepcare!!

Dr. Peter Fort is the medical director of Sarasota's Sleepcare Diagnostics. He received his Medical degree from George Washington University in 1991. He then completed his internal Medicine Residency at the USAF Wilford Medical Center in San Antonio and became Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1994. He stayed at Wilford Hall Medical Center to complete his Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine Fellowship in 1996 at which time he became board certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He also gained Fellowship status with the American College of Chest Physicians and American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

May 4, 2006 - Sleepcare Diagnostic joins an elite group of six sleep centers nationwide recently accredited as A-STEP providers, Accredited Sleep Technologist Education Program. The two-year accreditation was awarded by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine after a rigorous accreditation process. A-STEP offers the highest standard of education and training for sleep technologists who administer sleep tests and education for patients. Read more....
